On Saturday 8th June 2024 Teen Challenge QLD will host its annual Hope Gala Fundraising Dinner, proudly sponsored by Well Life Service and DCC Industry Group, at Brisbane City Hall. The HOPE GALA fundraising dinner is the major fundraising event on the Teen Challenge calendar and this year we will be celebrating 10 years of HOPE GALA! The fundraising goal is $350,000 which goes towards our drug and alcohol residential rehabilitation programs.
On the night we expect to host over 500 guests, our MCs will be Duncan Armstrong (Olympic Champion and celebrity speaker) and Steff Willis (96five radio presenter), LURE Band and Corey Hargreaves will entertain us, we’ll hear stories of hope and transformation and enjoy a delicious three course meal. You can also participate in the charity auction and there will be time at the end of the night to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the dance floor.
One of the highlights of the HOPE GALA fundraiser is the Live and Online Charity Auction. The bidding is always fierce, and the amount raised in these auctions is generally around 25% of the overall proceeds raised from the evening. Donate an Auction Item
Would you consider donating an Auction Item towards the Live and/or Online Auction of Teen Challenge QLD’s Hope Gala on 8th June 2024? The amount raised from the auction is generally around 25% of the overall proceeds from the evening. For further details please view the attached brochure.
Partnership Opportunities
You are invited to partner with TCQ by sponsoring the Hope Gala 2024. When you do that you will align your business to a social cause that changes the lives of people overcoming addictions as well as gaining exposure to TCQ’s large supporter base.
Host a Table
We are inviting you to consider being a Table Host at Hope Gala 2024. You would be responsible for inviting 9 guests who have a heart for the cause of TCQ and the capacity to give. Each guest will be encouraged to make a donation or purchase an auction item on the night. Our goal is for each table to raise at least $5000. You might even consider running a fundraiser before the event. We will send you a full Table Host pack (including invitations and guest registration instructions).

Lauren grew up in a typical suburban home, but when she was 10, her dad, a local policeman, experienced a traumatic event that almost cost him his life. The effects of this spilled over into their family life, and life became strained. Home didn't always feel like a safe place for Lauren. She also experienced significant trauma personally during her childhood and teenage years, and a series of challenging experiences left a lasting and devastating impact on her. And for many years, Lauren suppressed these feelings.
But everything changed when Lauren went to the TCQ rehabilitation centre. It was here that Lauren found freedom from her addictions and none of this would have been possible without the support of people like you. Lauren says it best…
“It's a place that gives life back. It gave back mine.”
